Martin Lawrence

Martin Lawrence was born in Cumbria and studied physics at the University of York before moving to London to specialise in the natural horn. He has been second horn in the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment since 1995. He also plays for many other groups on modern and old horns, including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Opera House, Australian Chamber Orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Concerto Copenhagen and Concerto Köln. He is also in demand as a teacher of the physical and psychological aspects of performing.
